Description

This module provides an overview of the national and international regulatory framework that governs development and provides protection for the historic built environment. Key aspects of UK planning policy and law are introduced and the process through which change is managed is discussed alongside issues relating to stewardship, finance and project management. The student is encouraged to critically appraise conservation and regeneration policy and to consider implications for conservation practice.
